Malachite Mad Dash 12.21

After two years of trying (and failing) to see a Malachite butterfly, I finally got word of one at the National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas. Winds were out of the south and the temps were warm, there was a good chance it would hang around! I made the 680 mile round trip in a day, and wasn’t disappointed.
